
First Annual Asia & Middle East NCCN Guidelines in Oncology Symposium hosted by Tawam Hospital held in Al Ain

Tawam hospital is in collaboration with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and Prime Oncology announcing the first annual Asia & Middle East NCCN guidelines in oncology symposium titled “ Decision Making in Oncology: Evidence and Consensus”. The symposium will be held in Al Ain Intercontinental Hotel, February 21st-23rd, 2008.
Hosting this symposium in UAE will give significant value for the participants as it brings in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and international leading oncologists to the region for the first time. The NCCN is a non profit alliance of 21 leading cancer centers in the USA and is an authoritative source, developing widely recognized and used treatment guidelines for most cancers.
The primary goal of the symposium is to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of oncology practice and to begin discussions around developing regional guidelines suited to local needs and resources.
