Dubai
Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (MBRE) is launching an innovative programme at the Careers Show 2009, which kick off on Sunday at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The new programme focuses on promoting excellence and creativity among national university graduates, offering them the chance to present their thoughts and to start their own businesses.

MBRE's participation in Careers Show 2009 aims at attracting national university graduates to get acquainted with the Establishment's opportunities and programmers that are designed to provide them with a competitive environment, encourage them to take their first step on the business ladder, catalyze entrepreneurship and familiarize them with the basics of business.

Mr. Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of MBRE, said: "the MBRE has not only offered the UAE nationals jobs opportunities and leading positions at its premises, but has gone in translating the vision of our prudent leadership so far as to extend a helping hand to prepare university graduates to become business leaders through supporting and realizing their ideas. We guide them to the right way to achieve success in business and to take part in their country's development."

Emphasizing the MBRE's support for the national business leaders, Al Janahi said:
" By the end of 2008, the number of business leaders of small and medium enterprises joining the establishment was 790. These members are engaged in various economic activities, and many of them have managed to tap global markets and to establish international brands."

For his part, Mr. Ahmed Al Hashimi, Director of Human Resources, MBRE, stressed that Emiratisation is a top priority for the Establishment.

"Emiratisation rate at the MBRE has reached 64% . This percentage has hiked  to 100% in Marketing, Business Leaders Services, Government Procurement, Special Projects, Counseling and Development and Human Resources departments. Furthermore, job vacancies are still available at the Establishment and they will be filled by national cadres through the current year." Al Hashimi noted.

"MBRE," he added "helps in developing human resources and enhancing their efficiency, as it is certain that national cadres can play a pivotal role in the economic development in the UAE. The MBRE has attracted local youth with vast experience to work in its different departments. It helps them to tap into further education and training opportunities to enhance their skills and to rise up the career ladder."
