
Delegate from SME, DEDC Visits Indonesia

A delegate from the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (SME) has recently headed to Jakarta to visit the 23rd Trade Expo Indonesia organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Commerce.
The six-member delegate included 2 members and 2 staff from Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (SME), in addition to 2 other members from Dubai Exports Development Corporation (DEDC).
The delegate was composed of: Mr. Akil Kazim, the Operations Director, Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (SME); Mr. Osama Al Muharam, the Deputy Manager of the Government Collecting Department, SME; Mr. Fareed Abdul Ridha, the Manager of Export Markets Development, DEDC; Miss Noora Ali, Executive Deputy of Export Department, DEDC; in addition to two SME's members: Mr. Khalid Al Jawdar, CEO, Al Jawdar International Group; and Mr.Mohammed Shareef, CEO, the Dimar International Company.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation attended the opening ceremony, toured the 23rd Trade Expo, and then met the Indonesian Minister of Commerce who was briefed on Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders.
The delegate then left to the industrial city of Bandung where they met with the City Governor as well as government officials and young business leaders. After that they departed to Jakarta to hold a meeting with the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI). Detailed presentations about SME, DEDC and HIPMI were made in the meeting.
On the third day, the delegation paid a visit to the exhibition and attended the Tourism, Trade and Investment Forum that was held on the event sideline.
The visit was concluded by site visits to various manufactories of textiles and furniture. |
