Orbit Viewers Win Trip To Kenya And Wild Life Safari

Orbit Satellite TV and Radio network and Animal Planet announced the winners of its latest Watch & Win competition at a gala event at the Mamlaka Tower in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The lucky winners, Saud Atteya from Jeddah,  Raed Al Obaidallah and Majed Aljahni from Riyadh each received an all expenses paid trip for two to Kenya which includes an African wildlife safari.

Atteya ,Aljahni ,Al Obaidallah , won by visiting the Orbit website, www.orbit.net, and entering the Watch & Win competition along with many other Orbit subscribers. Watch & Win is one of the many competitions that Orbit provides on its website for subscribers to enter and win fabulous prizes on a regular basis; previous prizes have included trips to Hollywood, California to visit the legendary MGM movie studios.

Animal Planet is dedicated to providing informative, educational and interesting programming highlighting the relationship between humans and animals. Programs on like Meerkat Manor are filmed using the latest scientific techniques and technology; this diminishes any adverse affects caused by the people studying and filming the animals on a long term basis.

Atteya and Aljahni will be flown to Kenya on an all expenses paid trip where they will take part in a wildlife safari in the famed and multifaceted scenery of Kenya. “I am very excited to go on safari – it has always been a dream of mine! And it was virtually effortless to enter on the Orbit website,” said Atteya.

Aljahni contributed by saying: “Orbit’s website is not complicated, so it only took me a short amount of time to enter the contest online. I am so glad I did! It will be amazing to see all the animals up close and in person.”

Al Obaidallah added: “I highly recommend people to go to the Orbit website; it always has amazing competitions like this with fabulous prizes – like the African wildlife safari the three of us just won!”

Ali Ajouz, Vice President of Marketing and Distributions, announced the winners’ details at a celebratory gala on Wednesday April 25th at the Mamlaka Tower in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event, held to highlight one of the many great promotional events arranged by Orbit Communications, was attended by various local media.

During the event, media personnel had the opportunity to participate in an exclusive business card raffle. Media winners also received a trip to Kenya and will accompany Atteya, Aljahni  and Al OubeidAllah on their African wildlife safari.
