MBRHE ties up with du to offer triple-play services for housing projects

To ensure highest level of services and maximum convenience for UAE nationals, the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) and  du, the integrated telecom service provider in the UAE, met today at the Establishment's headquarter with the aim of coordinating the two parties' efforts to provide triple-play services for all MBRHE's completed and under-construction projects.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Sami Gargash, MBRHE's Deputy Managing Director; Mr. Omar Ahli, Strategy and Quality Manager and Head of Al Warqa'a Project Allocation Team; Mr. Hammad Bin Hammad, Loans and Grants Manager. du was represented in the meeting by Mr. Osman Sultan, CEO; Mr. Farid Faraidooni, Executive Vice President - Commercial and Mr. Mohammad A. Al Najjar, Strategic Relationship Director.

. The meeting discussed the best ways to provide triple-play services, which include fixed line telephone via internet Protocol,  high speed Internet and Pay TV, in the 544 villas of Al Warqa'a project, currently being allocated to the UAE nationals. It also discussed provision of the same services in other villas being built at Oud Al Mateena, Al Barsha and various areas of Dubai.

In his statement after the meeting, Mr. Sami Gargash, MBRHE's Deputy Managing Director, said:

"To ensure offering all the necessary services to UAE nationals with minimum time and effort, du has been chosen to build the  FTTH network to supply triple-play services (fixed line telephone via internet Protocol,  high speed Internet, Pay TV) in all MBRHE's projects. du will dedicate a temporary office in Al Warqa’a project to offer telecommunication services to the UAE nationals who will be benefiting from this project as we want du's team to be close to the villas to assist UAE nationals with subscribing to du services easily and conveniently."

Mr. Gargash noted that du has executed FTTH network in the 544 villas of Al Warqa'a (phase one), and it is currently building similar networks in other 504 villas (Phase Two of this project), Phase One and Phase Two of Oud Al Mateena Project consisting of 940 and 325 villas respectively, in addition to 1468 villas in Al Barsha Project.

du will continue supplying telecommunication services to all MBRHE's current and future projects, Gargash added.

For his part, Mr. Osman Sultan expressed his pride of this cooperation and partnership with MBRHE. He said: "We will use our expertise to present high caliber home telecommunications for beneficiaries of the Establishment's projects. du aims to be the best telecom partner for various UAE sectors, and for the national establishments in particular."

"Inhabitants of MBRHE's housing projects will benefit from the pay by the second system, simple and transparent tariffs, off-peak rates 24 hours per day, reduced monthly subscription fees, exemption of monthly fees for added value services, such as caller line ID, call conferencing, etc." Sultan added.

du provides nationals in these projects with high speed internet service, which offers numerous tailored packages. With each package, the customer gets five email addresses with expandable storage capacity. du also offers Pay TV, providing customers with free basic TV channels  package, TV decoder on a reduced monthly rental basis, subscription of a new TV package for a shorter minimum subscription period.
