MBRHE officials meet representatives of financial institutions in Dubai
Meeting focused on best offer for additional finance scheme for housing projects

Officials of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) have a meeting with representatives of a number of financial institutions in Dubai.
The financial institutions represented at the meeting, which was chaired by Engineer Rashid Mohammed Al-Mutawwa, Executive Director and Board Member of the MBRHE, include the Dubai Islamic Bank, Noor Islamic Bank, National Bank of Dubai, the Emirates Islamic Bank, the Mashreq Bank, Tamweel PJSC, while the MBRHE was also represented by Sami Abdullah Gergash, deputy Executive Director, Engineer Burhan Abdul Rahman Al Habai, Assistant Executive director for Housing Affairs, Maryam Al Suwaidi, Director of Administrative Affairs and Human Resources and other officials, in addition to Engineer Al-Mutawwa.
The meeting, which was held here at the MBRHE premises, discussed financial facilities the financial institutions can offer UAE nationals who need additional funds to the soft loan the MBRHE can offer them to enable them build the houses of their choice.
In a post-meeting statement, Engineer Al-Mutawwa reiterated his outfit's commitment to facilitate all issues related to house owning for UAE nationals. He said the meeting, which was held in that context, aims at coordinating efforts to achieve that objective, adding that it also aims at working out a formula to enable UAE nationals secure additional funds to the soft loan being offered them by the MBRHE to enable them build the houses of their choice.
He hinted that the MBRHE will hold more meetings with other related institutions. He said schedules for those meetings will be announced later.
Al-Mutawwa cited the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai, who ordered an increase in the MBRHE housing grants to a minimum of 300 loans per month at a total amount of AED225 million per month. He said this will bring the minimum total annual loan grant to about 3,600 loans at a total amount of AED2.7 billion per annum. |
