Ducab, the leading manufacturer of high-quality power cables in the Middle East, announced the appointment of Andrew Shaw as the Managing Director of the company
A native of the UK, Andrew brings with him 10 years of expertise in the Power Cables industry. Andrew will spearhead the new direction for Ducab and focus on the growth of the business. He will also oversee the geographical expansion of the business into new areas. Andrew takes over from Walter Bailey who now resumes his duties as a non-executive Director of Ducab.

Andrew is a graduate from the Imperial College London and has an MBA from London Business School. Andrew’s most recent assignment was as China CEO for Italian multi-national Prysmian Cables and Systems. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Prysmian’s affiliate in Malaysia, based in Kuala Lumpur. He has extensive international experience having also worked in Thailand, UK and Korea in a variety of positions.
