
Aswaaq Nad Al Hamar leased out

Dubai As part of its commitment to provide the best services, aswaaq has signed an agreement with du, the integrated telecommunications service provider in the UAE, to lease spaces for du to open shops and customer service centers in the aswaaq community centre at Al Mizhar.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Yousuf Sharaf, aswaaq's Deputy CEO, and Mr. Abul Hadi Al Aliak, du's Vice President for Services and Administrative Affairs, in the presence of officials from both sides.
du will launch its first 1226 sqft shop and customer service centre in aswaaq's center at Al Mizhar. This will be followed by others in aswaaq community centers that will be established in different areas of Dubai next year.
In his statement after signing the agreement, Mr. Yousuf Sharaf said: “du was selected to open its shops and customer service centers in Aswaaq as part of our commitment and desire to provide all the necessary services for the nationals and the residents of the surrounding areas. We will facilitate the procedures and save them the hassle of movement as du will provide them with mobile and landline services, in addition to providing high speed internet and TV services to customers who lives in areas covered by du”
Ms. Najla Al Khaja, Senior Manager – leasing at aswaaq said: “we strive to provide diverse services for the community residents through aswaaq community centers. As part of our social responsibility towards Dubai, we conducted a study to the community's needs and made our best to meet their requirements. We have agreed with du to provide the telecommunications services through aswaaq's centers, in the light of the significant social role it plays to offer jobs to the UAE nationals in all its centers.
Reiterating du's commitment to participating in and supporting pioneering local projects like ‘Aswaq’, Farid Faraidooni, EVP Commercial, du, said: “We are keen distribution network and open du shops closer to our customers, increasing their convenience and comfort, as can be seen by the 24 du shops we already have, across the UAE”. We look forward to increasing our presence in all Aswaq centres.”
According to Faraidooni, the partnership with Aswaq extends beyond just opening du shops. It is a collaborative partnership with Aswaq, which has a strong orientation as a locally driven company, to develop local expertise in management and operations and help promote Emiratization.
