Aman Offers Free Medical Checkups to Dubai Public During Dragon Mart Safety Campaign

March 21 , 2010,
Dubai, UAE

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) offered the general public free medical checkups last week in a public health and safety campaign being hosted at Dragon Mart in Dubai. Through the support of the company’s Medical Department and active participation from Aman’s branch location at Dragon Mart, Aman partnered with Apple Clinic to arrange for doctors to provide visitors with free screening and health services measuring blood pressure and screening for diabetes.

About 785 people visited the Aman booth during the week-long campaign. This was done as part of Aman's services to the community and was formally appreciated by the management of Dragon Mart. Rashid Al Meeza, Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Aman, says that the company was proud to participate in such a noble cause.

"People in the UAE generally care about the health of their communities and their families, and the safety campaign was a great way to educate the public in an open, social environment," says Al Meeza. “Aman has and will continue to pursue these kinds of projects in support of noble public causes in cooperation with the public and private sector."
