Bahrain Air Flies the Saudi National Team for their Qualifying Match in North Korea

Bahrain Air, the first Premium service carrier with affordable fares, was chosen to fly the Saudi Arabian National Football Team from Riyadh to their World Cup Qualifying matches.

Bahrain Air flew the Saudi Team to Sendai, Japan earlier this week, where they played a warm-up match against the Thailand National Team. After the game in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, Bahrain Air flew the Saudi National Team back to Riyadh on February 12th 2009.

 “It is a great honor for us to carry the Saudi Arabian National football team to Asia for their important World Cup Qualifier against North Korea. We were delighted to deliver high quality in-flight service to the Saudi football National Team, ensuring that they arrive at their destination relaxed and ready for their matches.”

Adding “this trip required extensive preparations time in order to obtain all Traffic Rights and Landing Rights well in advance in order to travel to flyover  multiple countries airspace.”

“There were 21 dedicated employees including the pilots, cabin crew and a support team to make this journey possible.” Said Mr. Ibrahim Al-Hamer, Bahrain Air’s Managing Director.

“We have ambitious plans at Bahrain Air, and the fact that the Saudi Arabian football team chose Bahrain Air to fly them, is a proof that we can provide a high quality service at great value to our customers.”

The Saudi team on board the return flight expressed their appreciation to Bahrain Air for providing them with a pleasant and comfortable flight throughout the journey on one of its modern aircraft.
