Web design is more than just creating clean code and sharp graphics. A site that really works fulfills your strategic objectives while meeting the needs of your users. Even the best content and the most sophisticated technology won’t help you balance those goals without a cohesive, consistent user experience to support it.
The following diagam(The Elements of User Experience) was published on Jesse James Garrett’s Web site in 2000, Garrett has thoughtfully given texture, depth and meaning to a complex process. He has expanded the model through insight, not so much as a how-to guide, but as a thought-process guide–providing a backdrop for the decision-making processes that go into building a successful Web site.
My favorite design style is minimalist-style(Minimalism-design). I’m not sure becuase of my nationality, I like finding the beauty in simplicity. I often feel “the less is the more”, but at the same time being simple and mimimal is hard to do since I have tendency adding things more and more.
