Join O2 Employees for a FREE weekly stretch and breathe session

Reduce stress and increase mental focus and stamina by joining O2 Yoga experts for a weekly stretch and breathe session. The 30 – 45 minute session will commence this October at the O2 office and will follow with a healthy lunch.

With the end of Ramadan and everyone back to work, O2 Yoga expert George Stanboulieh will be sharing a range of breathing and stretching techniques to help ease employees and clients back into work on a weekly basis. The first stretch and breathe will commence on October 20th  and is open to everyone who wants to feel more in control and benefit from the peace and serenity that yoga can bring. With a range of breathing techniques and stretches the session is designed to suit every level and can help combat stress.

Did you know that the first thing to change under stress is one’s breathing?  Under stress a higher heart rate results in higher brainwave activity which significantly reduces cognitive processes, potentially resulting in anxiety and unclear thinking, ineffective memory recall, disruptive behaviour, a gradual decline in hormonal balance and an unbalanced nervous system. B.E.T teaches that the most effective 'natural' way to deal with stress is through controlled breathing techniques. These easy to learn techniques increases the blood-oxygen concentration lowering the need for the heart to beat as much, which in turn lowers brain wave activity and allows for a more balanced way in which the body operates. The ultimate results; the body and mind’’s ability to cope with stress is enhanced.

Learn new moves, breathing techniques with Stanboulieh and benefit from the weekly stretch and breathe session.
