Relaxation and breathing techniques bring variety of benefits to O2 Employees

Taking 15/ 20 minutes away from your desk once or twice a week to engage in some breathing techniques and stretching is a small price to pay. The benefits of taking part in O2’s Stretch and breath sessions, derived from Hata Yoga and Pranayama Yoga, include; strengthening the spine, improve blood circulation and flexibility, increased stamina, decreased cholesterol and blood sugar levels, encouraging weight loss, stress reduction and a mind that is sharp and focused. By attending a session, employees can overcome physically and mental challenges and will reach a level of harmomy between the body, emotion and thoughts resulting in a union with the self.

“As employees learn the stretches and breathing techniques and practice them on a weekly basis they will start to feel harmony between the body and mind. This will result in a positive and optimistic approach to life and increased clarity and focus,” said George Stanboulieh.  George, who recently returned from a two-week Yoga and meditation trip in Pune, India will be sharing the new techniques he learnt at the next O2 Breathing and Stretching session scheduled for Monday at 9:00 a.m and again on Wednesday at 1:00p.m.

We invite our clients to join us at our weekly stretch and breathing sessions. To book your free morning session please contact George Stanboulieh. igeorge@o2i.ae
