Cutting back on paper usage in the office - O2PR launches new green initiative

As part of its services, O2PR sends all of their clients a monthly report with a full media analysis and individual clippings of their company and industry news.  In an attempt to coincide with O2’s mission to promote environmentally friendly practices in the office, O2PR identified a simple yet effective way to cut back on paper usage. The team found that by cutting out the competitors and industry news clippings from the monthly printed report and sending them via email they could halve the amount of paper usage in the office. To-date clients now receive all their competitors and industry news clippings daily by email. Clients can also view all their clippings online at the O2MC website. As paper is often used for unnecessary purposes, this one green initiative has started to make employees think about the waste they produce and has become a foundation upon which O2PR hopes to become more environmentally friendly. It is hoped that this will pave the way for more green initiatives in the future.
